Mumbai Indians journey started from frist season of IPL in 2008. The legend of indian cricket team Sachin Tendulkar lead the team. But team start not started well in frist few years. In 2011 Mumbai Indians signed Rohit Sharma as a player. In 2013 Rohit Sharma replace australia legend Ricky Ponting as a captain. And then fortune of Mumbai Indians has been changed in IPL. Rohit Sharma lead the team from front with a good leadership skill . Rohit Sharma has a good communication with youngster and experience player. As a result Mumbai Indians has been a champion in 2013 season. Not just in 2013 season. But Mumbai Indians has added the trophy 4 times in their cabinet.In the years (2013,2015,2017,2019,2020). In Last two seasons Mumbai Indians did not qualify for the playoffs. This year Mumbai Indians will look to bounce back in IPL. And look to bring back the trophy. The frist match of Mumbai Indians is against strong team of IPL RCB on 2nd April Sunday.We will find the answer who is the champion of 2023 IPL.
